Overview

Your career is a referee in the soccer league. This league is quite different from the others, where both the soccer team mates and the crowd are very violent and easily out of control, every season there are referees killed because of making bad judgments. Your positing in your starting career is a member in the Referee's Committee, in the other words, a normal referee. What you need to do is to reach the highest position of the soccer industry: the President of the Executive Committee. The higher the position in your career, the more privilege power will be given to you such as banning certain soccer team-mate to play the match. After the league there will be a world cup which the matches are more difficult to judge and the crowd will be more uncontrollable. Further more, there will be more incredible foul actions. Your second goal therefore is to finish the world cup without losing your life!

In the match, being the chief referee in the game, you have to make judgments inside during the match, as well as control the crowds' and the team-mates' emotion. Your assistant referee will help you in judging on the 2 sides of the court by signaling you about any fouls, throw in or offside. However, these assistant referees will have preferences and abilities difference that may mislead you. When the crowd is angry with you, they may come down and attack you in many ways. Once you or your assistant referees die, you will be regarded as failure in your career.

Create YOURSELF to Start Your Career

At the beginning of the game, you are requested to create a character for the referee that you will act as in the game. There are 3 groups of information for the player to set. They are namely Personal Information, Abilities and Appearance.

For the abilities, player is given 30 points to distribute to the attributes of the referee. Player can also choose to randomly generate everything for them.

After setting all the information, player can then start the carrier with the referee they created.

Entering the career

Pre-Match Preparation ( Daily Schedule )

At the first day being a referee, you will be managing your works like sitting in front of a computer. You can receive email, buying equipments, put on equipments for the particular match, gambling, getting information of the league, checking out calendars, and making appointment with assistant referee for the coming match. You have to manage all these stuff before each match, and on the other words, after each match.

1. Receive E-mail

The email system will help the referee to get information on various notices. There are 5 types of letters. They can be categorized into news, reminder, corruption letter, and response letter.

News
News is usually some read only notice to the referee (no need to reply). The information includes some soccer team information, the death of other referee, or your career position upgrade notice.

Reminder
Reminder tells you what will be your next match and other relevant information.

Corruption letter
During the league, some gangster bosses would like to control come of the match result in order to benefit them in some ways. They would send letter to you and ask for your help in return for a certain amount of money. You can choose to accept the duel, reject it or bargain with them for a better price.

Response letter
This kind of letter is also read only. Letters including response from the gangster boss about your reply and different types of response.

Invitation matches
Sometimes referee may receive some emails inviting you to judge the matches between non-league teams. If you are able to finish the match, you will be given a special item that can't be bought in the shop as a reward.

2. Buying Equipments

Being a referee in the game is putting his life at risk all the time, therefore the only solution is to buy some protections. These protections are basically called items and equipments. Items are consumable products such as pills, and equipments are weapons and wearable objects such as helmet. Inside the shop, there is a dressing room and weapon testing room. The dressing room can show what the referee will look like after wearing those chosen equipment. A function is available for saving the posture to a picture file.

The weapon testing room is a room for the referee to have a testing shoot on the weapons such as guns. The referee can shoot on a soccer fan (crowd) made of card board as testing target.

What does the shop sell?
The shop is selling 2 groups of products : equipments and items.

Equipments are wearable products and unique. They will not be destroyed and once being sold, they will not appear in the shop anymore unless you sold back to the shop as second hand products. Sometimes you may not be able to buy certain equipments as they are displayed randomly every time you enter the shop. Items are consumable products are being sold in the shop at any time. You can buy as much as you can. Items cannot be sold back to the shop.

3. Put on Equipments/Items

Before every match start, the referee is allowed to bring a maximum number of equipments/items to the match. Referee has to choose suitable equipments and items among his collections. Before start the match, the referee is recommended to do a little research on the home team and its supporters.

4. Gambling

This is the place where you can bet on matches to gain extra incomes. There are various type of bets such as win-draw-win and exact match result. You are allowed to bet with the amount of money you has.

What can we bet?
Gambling can be divided into 2 types: Bet by match and bet by season. By match means players will be able to bet on the particular match during the season. Season type refers to bets that related to the league result for the season such as the league winner.

5. Getting Information

As a reference for hiring referee and gambling, you may need to retrieve information about the league or the list of assistant referee. For the league, you can know about the team's as well as the corresponding team-mates' information. And for the assistant referee, referee is shown with information such as abilities, like team and dislike teams.

6. Check out Calendar

This is a calendar where you can check for the schedule of all the matches inside the league. The calendar will have indicators on the dates for the league matches and matches that the referee has to judge.

7. Hire Assistant Referee

There are 3 referees in every match. Therefore as the chief referee, you have to hire the other 2 assistant for you. These referees have their own like and dislike teams, as well as different abilities, which may affect their judgment inside the match. After every match, the participated referees will gain certain experience point for improving their abilities. But as their abilities are higher, their price for hiring is also much expensive.

Start Judging!!!

In the Match

During the match, the chief referee will be able to move around inside the soccer pitch. You are able to switch the point of view from yourself (chief referee) to the assistant referee and move around. As long as the referee is controlling one among the 3, the other 2 referees will continue making signals moving around automatically. The referee will watch the team-mates play the match and you have to follow them in order to have a better position to notice a foul action. If there is a necessary, the referee can whistle to stop the match and make corresponding judgments. After this, the 2 teams as well as the crowd may change in emotion in either becoming more angry or cooling down.

Anger may result in referee being attacked. Then you have to control the scene in order to survive by using guns or run away. However, when the crowd emotion is at the highest level that they become mad, they will run down and then referee will enter a mini-game and the result of the mini-game will determine whether referee can survive or not. Different stadium will result in different mini-games.
In case you are injured during the match, you can use the items like pills to recover himself or/and assistant referees.

Rewards After the Match

After each match, the referee will be given 2 types of points, namely: Experience and Reputation

To determine the amount of reputation point the referee gain or reduced. The referee will be evaluated according to mainly his accuracy of judgments and response time. If you have gained enough reputation for promotion, you will play a game to get a bonus on your basic salary.

Every match worth different experience points. The differences will then depend on the level of difficulty in judging the match. The more difficult of judging a match, the more experience the referee can gain. If the experience point is enough for upgrade level, referee will then go to a menu and be given a certain amount of extra attribute points to distribute among his attributes.

Having a successful career?

In the game, there is a very important value called Reputation. It determines whether the player can win the game or not. Reputation directly affects the position of the soccer referee. The higher the reputation of the player, the higher position he can reach. There are totally 5 different positions:

1. President of Executive Committee
2. Vice-President of Executive Committee
3. Chairman of Referee's Committee
4. Deputy Chairman of Referee's Committee
5. Member of Referee's Committee

The initial position of the referee is the member of referee's committee. Each time the referee promotes to a higher position, you receive a privilege power such as select match to judge, and you can play a mini game in order to have a bonus salary. However, if your reputation value below the range, you will be relegated to a lower position. When your reputation drops to or below zero, your career, as well as the game, is over.
