  • MIC502 “Creativity and Storytelling”: Semester 1. compulsory subject (2001/2002) and (2002/2003)
  • MIC5602 “Screenwriting” Semester 2. Elective delivered as a series of workshops (2002/2003)
  • MIC5700 “Multimedia Marketing, Sales & Distribution”: Semester 2. Elective. Some of the lecture material has been delivered as supplementary material for the program.
  • MIC506 “Innovative Multimedia Project Development”: Semester 2. Compulsory subject (2001/2002). Take-over the subject the departure of the subject lecturer. Development of some classes for a revised course for students (2002/2003)
  • MIC5600 “Advanced Digital Video Production” : design and overseeing of this Semester 2. Elective subject (2001/2002) and (2002/2003).



    • Media Production Workshops: design of a series of workshops to assist students in learning the basics of digital filmmaking. Some of these workshops have been re-designed for online delivery as a part of MIC’s MICCO project.

    • Development of the Master’s Project Assessment Menu that covers all delivery items across every discipline and multimedia stream. This is part of a developed system for grading as well. For the General Education Centre

  • GEC258 “An Introduction to Media Literacy”: GEC Subject (2000) and (2002).
  • GEC258 “An Introduction to Media Literacy” (online version): all subject lectures were put online including video lectures with PowerPoint, online links, glossary and quiz.



    • For the English Language Centre: “Business in the Workplace”, developing pilot course using filmmaking technique as well as research support on output For Professional Conferences:

  • GTEC 2001 “Video Games Virtual Reality and The Evolution of Mind”
  • GTEC 2002 “Panel on Film Production Methodologies for the Game Industry” panel member and presenter.



    • “Star Filmmakers”: the development and delivery, over 2 years, of a digital video filmmaking course, with up to 80 hours of training, to secondary school teachers and students. The course will train by December 21, 2003 about 290 participants…many of them are teachers. The total funding/income of the project is about HK$1.6 million. For the School of Design:

  • HiDip in Multimedia and Design Technology (summer client project): To supervise, or oversee supervision, of all students undertaking media production projects (summers 2001/2002/2003).
  • HiDip in Multimedia and Design Technology (summer client project): develop and deliver workshops on time management, communication and team building to assist students in their projects.
